the story behind the sanctuary

When my daughter was 6 months old, we purchased 45 acres of wooded wilderness to make sure she, and now our second daughter, grow up barefoot, muddy, wild & free.

For kids, we encourage the “wild child” spirit but that seems to fade as we grow older. I’ve named the sanctuary “Wild Soul” to encourage all of us to keep our souls wild & free – no matter how old we are.
